Bonjour, enchanté!~ Je m'appelle Katie, mais je prefere le nom de Sanyu. J'ai dix-sept ans, et je suis étudiante de Français et Japoinais. J'ai tout simplement adorer le langue.

I don't speak French fluently (far from it), but I hope to soon with practise! I'm self-studying both French and Japanese, taking a bachelor in language for them both at university in future.

I'm a 17 year old girl who lives in Australia. I jump from hobby to hobby, having learned French for a bit this year and now joining ballet with Princess Skye. I'm picky and somewhat shallow, and I have somewhat obsessive attention to detail, which gets on some peoples' nerves; if you don't use text speak unnecessarily though you'll do superbly. I respect the English language and would prefer not to bastardize it. Not to seem cliche, I do like Anne Rice and Oscar Wilde-type literature, and admire Wilde for building the first foundation of aestheticism, as I seem to follow the movement without having realised it before.

My favourite style of clothing is Lolita, and I consider myself a "lifestyle Lolita" for what it's worth. Lolita, you say? My type of Lolita is sweet; frilly, lacy, poofy, princessy, and doll-like. It's a Japanese fashion based off of old European ladies' styles and sweetened up, made more cutesy and childish. Lolita is coined by its knee length, poofy skirt silhouette and modesty. The styles are so broad and open though depending on what you are, it's hard to define it further. Even here, there are some Lolita styles that break these conventions. I am a sweet and hime Lolita myself though I don't have much to my wardrobe yet.
My second favourite clothing style is a highly decadent and luxurious one, called hime-gyaru. I have very little to my hime-gal wardrobe thus far, being the brand lover I am and hime-gal brands such as Jesus Diamante being so expensive!

My views on life and such can be very strong or very weak and they change A LOT. Often I will contradict myself for what I had said a day or a week prior, but I don't think that's something people should condemn anybody for. Life is a growing experience; changing views are just another interesting part of peoples' uniqueness and who they were, are and someday may be.

Currently the Accreditations page is out of date and I am considering axing the idea altogether. If you find something here I haven't credited, e-mail me instead. I've begun to credit for each page on the page itself so there's not much need for a Credits page. Thoughts?

It's been a while! I got a job and have been really busy every day. When I'm online at home I'm usually trying to catch up on everything else. I've been working on a layout for my misc. wishlist though, so expect that in future :) I'd update my calendar and such now but I'm still in a rush trying to fix my iTunes/Quicktime so I can use my new iPod! If any of you know how to repair this I would be ever so grateful. *begging*

My internet is crapping out on me pretty horribly.. Every page I try to load takes forever, and if I 'stop' loading it the connection resets and an error page replaces it, making it even harder. I managed to get some 2006 pictures of Craig/and I up... So, yeah. I'll be adding the sections "Waicon 2007," "purikura," and "Lolita Meetups" (since we had one at AQWA yesterday!), but that will wait until my internet feels more like cooperating.. *sigh* progress is slow, but I'm getting there!

» I finally got around to making the header image for the photos page. I don't know if I like it though ^^;

» Coding on the photos page is finally almost done. I've got a billion photos of me in the "old," "2006" and "2007" sections, and I wrote up something special about Craig that I'll probably end up copying into my petit ami page when I make it if I'm feeling lazy xD I hope I'm not feeling lazy, heh. Anywayyyy umm, YEAH! I still need to put photos of Craig in, photos of my friends and family, and newer photos of me. heh. Bare with me.

Photos page has been made. I'm using a purple div this time, and I have yet to make a header image. I messed with some table coding and got it how I want it for one row of pictures (incidentally they're the icky ones, too), but the rest will have to wait until tomorrow. My day in the city pooped me out too much ^^;

» I redid the header image for Lolita Wishes! It has me, Skye and Steph now, along with pretty brand.. I think it looks better. Tell me what you think :)

I realised today that these layouts do not work in Internet Explorer, so I added a cute little warning to Internet Explorer users. I couldn't put the warning in my layout because it didn't show up... XD so it's hidden behind everything ;]

I'm up late, I know! I finished working on the layout and coding for Lolita Wishes this morning. I still need to redo my Wishlist. I plan to mess with the tables and coding of this layout for those to make it a little different, but I like the idea of running a theme through my website. I keep messing up and making my piczo ugly... So bare with me as I fix up my horrible, messy piczo and prettify it with div layouts! xD

» Shoutboxes have been added to all my newer pages

» Notebook page added. It acts like a site checklist, as I'm planning to reconstruct everything. I felt a bit overwhelmed, so I simplified everything and planned what I had to do. Thus, the notebook was created, and HTML coding looks so much better and more motivational than notepad does...

I've made a new page for my Daily Snapshots, as I decided it'd look a lot better in calendar format like poupeegirl has, rather than messily posted to my diary on kupika everyday. I felt like I was spamming my friends X)
